Don't Believe In These "Trends" Concerning Best Robot Vacuum And Mop Self-Empty
Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases

Self-emptying bases make robot vacuums worth the cost, particularly for those with large homes. It means that you don't need to empty the bin several times during a run and it will run more frequently and keeps your floors tidy.

The app allows you to create zones and clean schedules. But it didn't avoid obstacles like furniture legs, and neither did the j7 and Q Revo.

1. iRobot Combo J7+

The Combo J7+ robot vacuum and mop is iRobot’s first. It takes the excellent iRobot j7 robotic vacuum and adds a tiny reservoir of water, a robot arm that can raise and lower mopping pads, as well as some new sensors. The result is a powerful two-in-one cleaner, which we found to be superior than non-mopping robotic vacuums.

The Combo J7+ does not have the smart mopping features that our top pick has, but it still effectively cleans. It has a powerful brush roll that works on both hard floors and carpeted areas. It can get in between rugs and furniture without difficulty even on stairs that are steep. It has a strong suction that we were very impressed with, even though it'sn't as powerful as the iRobot Roomba 694's.

What sets the Combo J7+ in a way from other robot vacuums is a mopping feature that uses an incredibly small rotating brush to scrub the floor. SmartScrub is what iRobot refers to, and it is akin to the way mops scrub floors. It can be activated on a room-by-room basis in the iRobot app.

The J7 Plus is simple to use and set up as other iRobot Robots. It is also easy to maintain. The water tank and the dust bin are both removable, so they're easy to clean. The iRobot App lets you watch instructional videos that demonstrate how to maintain the different components of the machine. For instance replacing the mopping pad or filtering the water tank.

The only real drawback is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mops if it has a mopping pad attached and the 210 ml water tank is full. It will only vacuum when one of these are missing. The iRobot App lets you monitor the tank's water level and send notifications when it is low.

2. Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is a reliable budget-friendly machine that is great for vacuuming and mopping. The mopping efficiency, especially given its price, is awe-inspiring. It is great for hard floors and carpets and can pick smaller to larger pieces of debris (think hair tangles or cat litter). It's also great for cleaning dried spills, messes and staining. It is also excellent to clean stairs and other areas that are easy to get stuck.

The mopping system utilizes the rotating pad to scrub your floors using water to lift dirt and grime on stubbed-on spots. The pad also dries thoroughly by circulating 45 minutes of warm air following each cleaning, preventing mold and unpleasant smells. You can easily control the robot via the Roborock app or use your voice to start your mopping or change settings and more.

The vacuuming is also top-quality. It is equipped with an impressive vacuum and a high-efficiency filter which can handle all kinds of debris from fine to large. The only drawback is that it doesn't work as well against pet hair on carpet. After two cleaning sessions at maximum power, 10 percent of pet hair remained on the surface. This is not something you've heard of.

The Q Revo has plenty of things to offer, from its excellent mopping and cleaning capabilities to its excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. It's not quite as good as a high-end robot vacuum and mop however it's a great option for anyone who is on a tight budget. It also charges up to 30% faster than the previous models, and it works with Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri Shortcuts. That's a lot of convenience for a tiny amount of money. Take a look at our full review of the Roborock Q Revo for more information and to determine whether it's the right choice for you.

3. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube vacuum/mop robot is inexpensive and comes with numerous great features. Setup is a breeze and takes just five minutes. After taking off the tape for manufacturing and protective plastic, a quick scan of the QR code in the app will get you started. The app is simple and walks you through the process easily. Once it is set up, you are able to start mapping and cleaning.

The app lets you to create maps and customize the layout of your home. The app also lets you divide rooms into smaller sections to better meet your specific needs. You can create a map of the kitchen, and another one for the living room. The robot will then vacuum the floors at different times in each room.

The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots that I've tried. It has an industrial look. Its base station is more modular than the others and has the water-draining tank and auto-empty feature on one side, and the vacuum on the other. The mop pad, which is reusable, is also separate, slotting into the top of the robot and being attached to an handle on the front for easy removal and refilling.

The vacuum is as effective as any robot I've ever tried, and it comes with two brushes on the sides instead of the single brush found on many models. This expands the vacuum's coverage area, and reduces the possibility of debris being lost behind walls and furniture. It isn't perfect in object recognition and tends to be a target for objects such as the carpet with tassels in my office.

4. iRobot Braava Jet m6

The iRobot Braava Jet m6 is a capable robot mop that does its job well and keeps your floors looking great regularly. It can't do the vacuuming work of other hybrids on this list and doesn't transition onto carpets or rugs as they can, but it comes with a long battery life, smart mopping features and is a good option to maintain your floors in a small to mid-sized house.

It operates in dry sweeping mode, too, cleaning up to 1,000 square feet at one charge. It can also map your floor plan with the iRobot App and clean your rooms in a series using compatible Roomba Vacuums.

In wet mopping, the m6 makes use of precision sprays to dampen the floors in straight lines. It's fascinating to watch and it was able to tackle even the toughest dried-in juice and coffee stain on my floors. It can be set up to use less water or greater than the maximum amount set by the app.

The iRobot App is among the most user-friendly applications on the market. It allows you to connect to your home's wifi. It comes with a variety of user-friendly features like scheduling, room partitioning and creating no-go areas. This gives you total control over the device. It also allows you to determine how much battery power remains so that you can get an accurate estimate of how long it will last before it needs to be docked and recharged. The m6 can be purchased at My Robot Centre for PS499 in the UK or at the iRobot Store in the US for just $399 and on Amazon (where the m6 is currently for sale). It's available in graphite and white.

5. Shark RV2610WA

It's not a secret that vacuum and mop robots are a practical method of keeping your home tidy without having to lift a finger however they do have hefty prices. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 robot mop and vacuum with XLHEPA Self-Empty base which we reviewed, retails at $699 / PS559 / approximately 1,054 AUD. If you do not want the charging base, it will still cost $549 /PS395 / approximately $675.

The Shark RV2610WA is a great choice for those looking for a robot that is able to handle both mopping and vacuuming. It can be used to deep clean stains that are difficult to remove using the stain-lifting tool included in the package. The app allows you to schedule the machine to clean on a specific day and time, and has a smart feature that allows you to control your robot even when you're not at home.

The Shark vacuum cleaner is effective in vacuuming and is able to take care of most debris. However, it is not as efficient on carpets. It's easy for pet hair to be caught in the brushroll and its dirt container can quickly fill up. There are robotvacuummops.com of parts that need regular maintenance and replacement, which can add up to recurring costs over time.

For the price, there are better options on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus offers superior performance on bare floors and carpets with a high pile. It's built better, has a bigger dustbin and can move over obstacles such as electrical cords better. The iRobot cleaner is more expensive, but it's is worth it if your goal is an all-purpose vacuum that can do both tasks with ease.
