About Me

Why You Should Be Working With This All Terrain Pram
Mamas & Papas All Terrain Prams

All terrain prams are pushchairs that can be used on rough terrains like cobblestones, woodland paths and fields with muddy soil. They are constructed with large tyres made of rubber for all-terrain use in contrast to standard pushchairs that use air-filled tyres.

They typically have seats that can be reversible (world or parent-facing) and can be adapted to a carrycot or car seat. They should be lightweight and easy to fold, so they are suitable for travel.

1. Mama & Papas Ocarro

The Mamas & Papas Ocarro is an ideal pushchair for families looking for an all terrain pram. It's big and sturdy, with dual suspension, large wheels and a large lie-flat seat that supports healthy sleep. It comes with an holder for cups as well as a rain cover and an umbrella for sun-filled excursions. The Ocarro is easy to steer and a breeze to fold. It takes less than five minutes to fold and the handle has been shaped to provide the best control.

The Ocarro offers a wide range of features to keep baby happy including a head cushion and padding for the chest. It also has a variety of recline positions including a flat recline for healthy naps on the go and can be used forward or parent facing. It comes with reflective trims and an inbuilt ventilation system to keep baby cool and comfortable.

It has a really nice style and the materials are luxurious. I was awed by the brown leather trim on the handles and the bumper bar. It's a little heavier than some of the other buggies tested, but it's a great quality. It's a great stroller for taking on parks and country walks as well as getting on and off public transport.

The Ocarro is available as a four piece pushchair or as part of a complete travel set with carrycot and car seat (both available separately). It is suitable for babies and comes with everything you need for those big adventures. The carrycot is an adjustable lie-flat position as well as a an apron with magnetic clasps that fold away quickly and quietly. It has an air vent, a hood and a lie-flat positioning to keep your baby warm during any weather.

2. Cybex Avi

The Cybex Avi is a specialist running stroller, designed to enable you and your baby to run in a comfortable way. It is light, easy to steer and features a unique frontwheel that is able to be locked. It can also be used for use with any Cybex or gb infant car seats using the optional adapters.

The Avi is also available as the "One Box" option, which includes the frame, seat pack and canopy all in one box. It is easy to put together, which will save you both time and money.

This is an excellent choice for parents who are serious about their running and wish to stay active with their babies. It is suitable to run with babies from birth and is compatible with any Cybex car seat or gb. It has simple and quick one-pull system to tighten the harness.

It comes with a slim, air-filled tire design and a soft and adjustable sports seat. It also features reflective details to increase visibility and an XL sun canopy that offers UPF 50+ protection.

It is not recommended to use it on rocky or hard terrains, and there is no reclined position available for infants. It can also only be used at walking speed, not jogging or running.

Genevieve Gregson is a three-time Olympic finalist and 2x world champion finalist. She is also a running coach for Gregson Running and an Australian record holder. So we asked her to test the Cybex Avi running stroller through its paces. This is what she was able to say:

3. BOB Sport Utility

BOB Sport Utility is the ideal stroller for outdoor adventures off the beaten track. It features a fixed front wheel to give you more stability when jogging or hiking and pneumatic knobby tires mounted on high-impact polymer wheels, and a hand brake for added downhill control. It is also easy to transport and store thanks to its two-step folding system. This stroller for babies features a movable handlebar that fits parents of all heights and a huge canopy with an open window that lets you monitor your baby. helpful hints can also pair it with an infant car seat to make the ultimate travel system.

The BOB Sport Utility's main drawback is its lack of maneuverability. It was rated with a score of 6 out of 10. It is necessary to tip it back and can be difficult in tight spaces, such as cafes and stores. It is a breeze to push on flat surfaces, however, with an excellent roll and a movable tracking system that kept it straight during our tests.

The stroller features single-action brakes that are simple to use and comfortable for sandals. It also has a deceleration handbrake that helps you easily slow down while running and relieves the pressure of having to use your feet. The only downside to this feature is that you have to remove the brake handle to activate it which can be a hassle while you're out on a run or in a hurry.

BOB also provides accessory adapters to fit a wide range of infant car seats with this stroller, making it a great option for families with multiple children. From unpacking the BOB Sport utility to being ready to go it took us 5 minutes and 24 seconds.

4. Cybex Aton

Cybex is well-known for its premium seats and simple-to-use features. This seat is no different. It is our top infant car seats. This is mostly due to its design and the fact that it is compatible with most Cybex strollers as well as some from other brands too for a Travel System. This seat has excellent safety features.

In our Infant Car Seats tests, the Cybex Aton scores above average in both rear-facing and forward-facing installation and ease of use. The headrest adjusts to 11 different heights and it has a harness that is not rethread to make it easy to ensure the straps are correctly adjusted as your child gets. Cybex seats also have a load leg on the base to prevent the chance of a crash to rotate and an anti-rebound feature to help keep your child in the center of the seat.

The Aton is iSize-approved right from birth and can be used with Cybex Base M for an added layer of security. It also comes with an innovative side impact protection that is linear that absorbs and redirects forces of collision away from your baby. The Aton's compact shell may not be suitable for compact cars as other models. The canopy isn't as large, and it's missing the ability to peek out.

Another drawback is the price tag. This is an expensive seat, particularly when you consider that it performed well than other seats in our tests. Fortunately, there are several alternatives to this on the market with cheaper prices.
